It looks like a fight between Wright and Pavlik is working out. Whos the one to win and take on Calzage?

Pavlik will make a statement and give Wright the first stoppage of his career. Wright will just be overpowered and pushed backwards until he has to abandon his defense to hold on as much as he can. It will be after this fight when commentators start to speculate on just how good Pavlik is seeing that Hopkins, Taylor, Mosely, Quartey, Vargas ect. could not knock Wright out. By the way, a common opponent is Bronco McCart who Winky Wright fought three times  and earned a split decision a unanimous decision and then a DQ victory over but Pavlik knocked him out in 6 giving McCart the first knock out and knock down for that matter of his career. Pavlik will stay at middleweight until he gets a shot at unification. Only then will he move up to take on Calzaghe.

Wink is a bad fight for Pavlik, this one is going to be interesting if it happens.  Pavlik is going to have to improve on his performances, Wright is a tougher opponent.  If nothing else Pavlik took the toughest fight first, if Wink could punch he would be almost unbeatable.  As is it, I think Pavlik will have enough to win an ugly decision.

No one beats Calzaghe now, NO ONE.

Hopkins will try to rough Calzaghe up but Calzaghe will win a dirty fight against Hopkins. Pavlik isn't even as good as Kessler so I can see Calzaghe winning a lopsided decision over Pavlik or maybe a late TKO.

Neither both get beat by the busy Calzaghe. Pavlik has a punchers chance but i think Joe out punchs Pavlik up at Light Heavy and Winky gets outworked both easy victorys for Joe as i see it. The one man who might be able to work him out will be Hopkins.

Frank P - i accept the thumbs down but i would look forward to having a bet with you when the situation arises, Pavlik will not out punch or out work Joe, easy nights work for Joe, straight forward isnt the word for Pavlik at the minute he needs to step up about another 3 gears to contest with Joe in my opinion.

I think that pavlik will be the first to stop wright, unlike taylor pavlik throws staight hard punches that will affect wright through his defense, wright dosent have alot of power and will try to move, but unlike when he fought taylor he cant simply out work his opponent b/c his opponent now who is pavlik will outwork any fighter and if he dosent knock winky out then i think he will be the winner by decision, but i expect a exciting fight with a KO for pavlik at round 10.  I think that pavlik will beat calzaghe but in the fight of the year, calzaghe's defense is not 2 good, he has fast hands much faster than pavlik but the way kessler landed a couple good shots hard, pavlik punches harder and i think will test goes chin and will break it and Knock him out. And where did you find out that they might fight??

In that case I'll root for Pavlik.  I like Winky Wright.  He's a nice fellow.  However,  Pavlik is a much more exciting fighter and would give Calzaghe a tougher fight.   He would extend Joe to the distance but Joe would beat him.
