It looks with the advent of MPEG4, I might need to upgrade my FTA DVB receiver?

I am looking at the Pansat 9200 HD/PVR. I have a Quali right now. Any comments on picture versus performance of this unit. Should I consider something else? If so, what and why?

  1. Picture quality will be fine. You will need to buy a Pansat 8PSK Module to play MPEG4(HD) content. This will cost you an extra $200 so keep that in mind. You will still be able to receive MPEG2 content without buying this module.

    I would also consider the Sonicview 8000 HD. It's the top selling hd receiver. You will still need to buy a 8PSK Module for MPEG4 content.
