It may sound a silly question but I was just curious .....What does it means when U say "bye" to ?

Good bye actually is a contraction for "God be with you."

Ba bye would be a way of trying to get around the real meaning of the blessing.

Ba-bye was actually a catch phrase that was used on SNL by a character that David Spade made popular.  It was from a sequence originally with him and Helen Hunt and they where airline stewardess' and they were trying to get people off of the plane, the people were trying to complain and they were kind of mocking them and kind of doing the fake rush that airlines sometimes do and they just kept repeating ba-bye... maybe if you try looking it up on you-tube it would make more sense, but that is the honest answer.

It means that you are done with the conversation and that they are too when they respond the same way...

If you are referring to the amount of 'bye's like ba bye...that doesn't mean anything different other than, that's the way they say it is all. :-)

Buh bye is said as in like a nice little bye. In other word's spicing up the word Bye so it sounds better, thats all!
