It may sound silly...and it is...but what is the best way to peel the salami? Is there some trick to it?

  1. I don't know if this qualifies as a trick or not, but using a knife, make a lengthwise slit in the covering for a couple of inches. Then make a second slit around the salami (or pepperoni, or anything else like it) at the end of the lengthwise slit. Then when you peel it off, it comes off in a nice rectangular piece without much effort.


  2. cut a slit down the salami witha knife then peel it around and off:)

  3. cut one end off and tear around and down when needed. the skin keeps it from drying out, so you want to keepas much as you can on. My mom would leave it on,cut slices for a sandwich and have me peel them to give me something to do while she made the rest of the sandwich, ahh... I hated her for that!!

  4. No trick....just carefully slice the 'paper' and pull it off.
