It; not bumble foot soo what is it?

my one year old Cream colored Guinea pig named Daisy ha a red spot on her back feet and only her back feet i use Aspen beading and i've NEVER used pine or ceder so whats wrong i'm really worried!

  1. Maybe it is a splinter that got lodged in there or a small cut that has become infected. Look at it closely and see if there are any abrasions or any splinters. If it is a splinter or cut, that is an easy fix, remove the splinter and/or put on some antibiotic ointment. Not too much though, in case she licks at it.

    And take her to the vet.


  2. Maybe you could bed her on some thing else like towels or fleece and see if this helps?  Is she standing/sleeping in any wee spots  This can some times cause soreness.  Is she running over anything that may just be rubbing her back feet?  I would also as already suggested look closely on her pads and see if there is any cuts or splinters also check between toes as some times the infection can be a small cut in there.

    I hope her feet get better soon!
