It only ever happens in R&S...?

you write a really good answer to a question only to find that when you go to post it, they are on a 'coffee break'. It is only ever for a few questions, the rest are fine. Does this annoy anybody else?

Their Coffe breaks means that the one that asked the question withdrew their question.

Yes, it's happened to me. I usually navigate to the previous page, copy my answer just in case, and try again. If it still doesn't work, the answer's saved for when you find the question again.

What disappoints me is when the question I answered has been removed. This happens even if there are lots of answers to it.

i really DON'T know, but my guess is...

they are reviewing the question because someone complained it violated the EULA or something.

before you post a long thought out answer copy it. Then if it happens you can just paste to your little hearts content.

yes d**n it,why would they do this,the questions are still there during coffee break,so why can't the answers go in too just like the questions,and you know what you always have a really good answer,at that time..oh well it;s their site anyways..poo to them,no double poo poo...

This place is a soap opera. I am just waiting for atheists to come out of their coma now. Oh yes and that is annoying but it gives me time to make my own coffee.

Yes, especially when you've spent time on your answer.  I often get "the coffee break" excuse, or "taking a breather".  It's funny that they weren't taking a "coffee breather" for the other answers already submitted.
