  1. You need to do research.  Find out where u wanna do it, (whay city) and then seek out the city officials because those are the people who own and take care of the sidewalks.

You can also talk to business owners to see if they may like the service and how much they would be willing to pay for it.

But personally I don't think it would make you a lot of money. But thats just my opinion, you never no, it might make you a millionaire :)

    Good luck.

P.s you can also seek out help from your local score agency.

    They offer business advice.

  2. If you put dry ice on the gum it freezes and then pops right off. Dosent leave any goo on the sidewalk!

  3. To add onto a good service idea, you could work it into sort of a sidewalk, parking lots cleaning service. You could street sweep, power spray and clean.

Part of that service would include specializing in removing chewing gum.  Maybe practice by using different gums, and letting them sit for different amounts of times so you know how to handle each situation differently.

Depending on where you are located there is certainly a demand for clean sidewalks and lots that you could attract a lot of business.

    Good luck.

  4. Who do you expect will hire you , exactly? Is there any competition? If there isn't, it was probably a bad idea to post  your plans on the internet. Better get a copyright! On the otherhand most businesses ,such as stadiums and theaters, already have cleaning equiptment and staff. If you went to a place that had really gross gum on the ground, it's probably there because they don't care wether that part of the floor or ground is clean. So, if you did offer your services you would have to have really low rates.

  5. Do you know anyone who would pay for this service?  If you think a lot of people would pay you to do that, then it might be a good business.  I'm guessing that there isn't a big market for this kind of thing though.

Keep coming up with ideas - sooner or later, I'll bet you get a very good idea.

    Good luck.
