  4. yes it is true do to alot of the airlines are cutting back on aircrafts do to fuel prices and if they cut down then they cant make the money to run the rest of the fleet so they all shutdown for example skybus runs airbus a319 and a320 and is getting to expensive to run them due to fuel price.so yes it is true .

  5. Rumor in Columbus, Ohio is that Skybus is trying to comeback - not holding my breath.

  6. Yep... rumors are that Oasis Hong Kong is due to shut down today. Rumors also say that there are attempts to revive Skybus as well as Aloha.

  7. Yes that airline ATA carried a lot of military business but recently lost a government contract.

    Skybus had a strange business set up.  The first ten tickets sold for any flight cost $10 yet the eleventh person in line was charges $15 just to check an extra bag.

    Aloha a much older airline sighted competition and increased fuel prices for it seeking bankruptcy protection.

    Aloha may be up and flying again under bankruptcy rules.
