It seems, everyone gave up on lightning after Franklin.did they?

posting this question on Science portion could give you better answers...

anyway, i don't think "EVERYONE" gave up on lightning. with the ever increasing prices of oil, people find alternative sources of energy. bio fuels, hydraulic power, solar, wind power and others are being used.

i also have a friend who works on a power plant and they have those gadgets that capture lightnings and use them as a source of power....

so people didn't really gave up on lightning....

i hope that clears a thing...

Well seeing as most people died after touching it,, then the great new invention of the "battery" people were more concerned about light bulbs than deadly bright light that god sends in fury.
