Question:

It seems I am the only one in my friends and family that gets sleepy after I eat. Is this normal?

If you also get sleepy after eating let me know. I know that my digestive system is using energy to break down the food I ate but why I'm I the only one who seems to get sleepy after I eat?

  1. Well you are correct on the digestion. It depends if you have a slow or fast metabolism. You know your body better than I do. If you have a fast metabolism then you are getting tired from your body working so hard. Also,it has to do with the food you are eating. An adult body naturally has trouble digesting dairy products so if you are eating a lot of dairy is one. Another is don't mix meats when you are eating. For instance, eat only chicken at that meal don't have turkey too. One more thing, eat fruit alone and in the morning. This will help cleanse your digestive track by lunch time.


  2. You're not the only one!

    I feel tired after eating. Especially after Thanksgiving! :D
