I guess, I've always wanted to do a profession that was worthwhile and I felt that would be being a physican. But, the more I read about it, it seems that being a physican in the US just makes one's life miserable.

Is there a place in the world where doctors actually enjoy their profession and get to do what they signed up for?

  1. Simply put Andy............It's all about love of what you do for others.........Pick a body part you like and go for it........we all need doctors............do you like the mind........do you like feet.....what's that noise in your "chest"....that motor sound:) If you interested in what makes you tick and me tick...........that's where you belong......I like a GP.......the bad part is you push a lot of pills....but you are surrounded by alot of other speciality doctors to help you carry the heavy burdens. A geat bedside manner is a MUST!!! And you have to be a good listener.  Don't worry about the money.....you will be able to work all day and night 7 days a week .......if you can just be patient kind and understanding of the human body and yourself.................enjoy big guy...bye

  2. you could be a dr. in africa or india where people really need the medical services. they would really appreciate it because some of them have to walk miles to see a witch dr. that doesnt fix the problem

  3. Canada all the way!!!! There are not enough doctors here becuase most get their degree here and move to the US becuase of the better pay. The reason for this is because of the privatized health care.

BUT seriously, it's better pay in the US.
