Question:

It seems that i have pulled a muscle ? ?

I think anyway... it's on my right leg, up near my butt cheek. It's sore and was hard to do any leg exercises today but I managed. I don't remember doing anythng hard or different other than walk the dog when I did, I tucked my tush in so it would not jiggle ( yea funny but it helped with holding my tummy in )... anyway.. that is the ony thing I can think of as to why it hurts.

anyone have any other suggestions ?? or remedies ?? other than take tylenol ( which I'll do before bedtime )

  1. Try stretching that muscle. Lay on your back, bring the leg toward you until you can grab your knee with your hands. Now pull it forward toward your stomach/chest area as far as you can. Hold for a minute or two, then let the leg back down  to the straight position, slowly. Do this several times. Then massage the area with some Aspercream, if not allergic to aspirin. Don't take Tylenol, take an advil or ibuprofen, again if not allergic to aspirin. Good luck to you young lady. Hope you have a good nights sleep without any leg cramps.


  2. You could try taking a hot bath.  That should help loosen the muscles.  I don't think you pulled them, just "exercised" a bit too much
