one yellow card is a warning two yellow cards would mean suspension for 1 game

cards will be given for doing things like sledging and refusing to leave the field when given out

this question is not an excusse to abuse any teams so before you do just remember that no matter what team it is they all sledge and have been known to show dissent

  1. Good idea, & yes, despite what some people think, there has always been sledging in cricket in all teams

  2. it might work but if you see in football they have the yellow card and red card system in place and that still doesn't stop the footballers from misbehaving

it might calm them down a bit and maybe they wont sledge as much or they might walk away if theyre out straight away but i dont think itll keep them disciplined for very long

  3. It's about time something was done about some of the on-field antics. There is far too much "sledging", and players remaining static at the wicket when given out. Also timewasting, when players deliberately hold up play so that the light fades and a result can't be forced.

At the moment the umpires are powerless to do anything about it. They can admonish them, and they can be fined or banned after the event, but it is during the match that these transgressions should be dealt with.

I think the yellow and red card system should be applied, and applied the same way as in football or rugby, where the player is dismissed during the match.

Captaines will soon ensure that their players behave if they find they are playing at a numerical disadvantage. Just imagine Sri Lanka not having Muralitharan to bowl in the last innings of a Test match, or Australia being without Brett Lee.

Players behaviour at times is disgraceful, and something needs to be done about it.

  4. AUSTRALIANS can easily hide the Yellow cards, they always wear Yellow uniforms for ODIs. Pakistan Cheat no. 1, then Australia & South Africa follow in cricket. Australian team will be exposed due to their uniform & the other 2 will continue cheating.

  5. If this happens, I'm sure Punther(The cheater) will make world record getting maximum card(s) in his career. ;)

  6. it is good.

  7. if its true it will never work.card system is suited for a fast paced sport like football.
