It sucks when your dad hates the guy you like at first sight!?

So finally after a while of staring, smiling, my long time interest has showed further signs that he has liked me, he walks me to my car, he asked for my number, he wanted to know when to go out, he is sad i'm moving for school, we hug, everything is perfect UNTIL my dad comes next to us and apparently my interest's boxers were slightly showing okay like I never saw him like that he never dressed like that but my dad hates him already says he is a thug and he is NOWHERE near it...i'm like dad he is in college majoring in biology lol a thug? i dont know what to do...my dad is very upset about this.

that made me laugh, but yea if i were you, I'd bring him over for dinner or something, and make sure he's dressed casually, good luck. This happened to me, I made the wrong impression on this girls father because i dropped the f bomb, funny story, maybe another time, but needless to say, after he found out why i dropped it, he could relate.

It sounds like a normal father reaction, his little girl dating is always a bad sign. Just hug him and tell him if your guy messes with you, you will personally chase him down beat his *** etc etc that you are a grown woman also that can handle her disputes with her partners

well any dad will react that way... maybe give your dad some time.. its hard for parents specially dads to get ok with the fact that their baby dolls are growing up... so give him sometime do not talk about your interest for sometime... then bring home his notes and make your dad believe well he is really good...
