  1. Bus travels 25 kms in 20 min.

    In 60 mins =   ??

    =  {60 x 20} /  25  =  48 kms.  = 48 kms/60 min = 48kms/hr.

  2. 20min=1/3h

    v=dx/dt=25km/1/3h=75km/h

    Banca: v=15km/1h=15km/h

    Sailboat: v=15km/0.5h=30km/h

    Motorboat : v=15km/1/3h=45km/h

    so fastest is motorboat and slowest is the banca

    is 2 times faster

  3. 1. 20 min is 1/3 hour, so 25/1/3 = 75 km/hr

    2. What is a banca?

    i) 15 km/hr, 30 km/hr, 50 km/hr

    ii) obvious

    iii) badly worded. compared how?

    difference is 15 km/hr

    ratio is 1:2
