Liverpool's boss, Kenny Dalglish backed his decision of making a return to Anfield for the second time in his managerial career, despite a dismal Premier League campaign this season.
The Scott, who had also coached the Anfield team from 1985 to 1991, took over the reins of the club in January 2011 from Roy Hodgson.
However, the Reds have experienced a topsy-turvy current season under his management, which saw them crash down to the eighth spot in the league table, while doing remarkably well in the domestic English Cups.
Nevertheless, the 61-year old turned down the suggestion that the club had deteriorated during his stay, and believed that the Reds splendid run in the Carling Cup and the FA Cup were signs of improvement. He also backed his decision of making a return to

Dalglish told The Sunday Mirror: “I was asked to come back here and it was an honour and a privilege to do so. There was no hesitation in my decision, and if I was asked again tomorrow, I would do exactly the same thing.”
According to some reports, Dalglish’s post is under scrutiny from the club’s owners, who have reportedly visited the Merseyside club two times in the last week, in order to seek an explanation from the Scott over the club’s lamentable run in the Premier
League.
However, Dalglish revealed that he will have no regrets even if his employers decide to axe him, and mentioned that the fans and the owners can better assess the performance of the team, at the end of the season.
“The most important people here are the people who own the football club, and the people who support the football club. I think they will be better judges than anyone else. People have to judge for themselves and if they still want to batter me that’s also
up to them.” he added.
The Scott also highlighted that despite failing to qualify for the Champions League next season, Bill Shankly’s philosophy that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 exists to win trophies still holds, as they won they Carling Cup earlier in February.
