In most states and provinces in Canada, it is illegal to have anything hanging from your mirror. Your windshield is there to allow you to have vision outside the front of your vehicle. Any obstruction of this "vision" is illegal........in all the places I drive.

Just because they "sell" leis, pendants, air fresheners, etc., doesn't make it legal to USE them........no law against selling them, but there are laws against using them!  .... not unlike a gun, huh.....

It differs from state to state as I just found out, try calling your local police department or the department of motor vehicles and ask........
