It was my first day of highschool today and im trying out for the football team...?

k im trying out for the football team and the tryouts are really hard especially after summer when you didn't do much active thing. and we had to do all sorts of hard things. and i was giving it my all and after my dad was talking to me about how i need to do the things better. and that feels really bad after u gave it your best. and i kind gave him an attitude wen we got home and then now hes all grumpy n **** and no im really pissed hes taking another hissy fit. he doesn't talk much and he talks quietly and it pisses me off. like get over it. so yah im kinda pissed because like i tryed my hardest and my dad was like o well wen he said tak a knee it doesn't me go on both knees or sit down it means go on one knee. so what do i do.

  1. use the aggression and anger you are feeling right now and put it into every hit you give, every catch you make, and everything you do.

    take all the rage you have in your body and use it on every play. i am sure you will make team then.

    i did the same thing when i was 15. i just went bananas in practice on every hit and drill and made the team.


  2. Toughen up and use ice!

I was a 2 time all-state reciever and played major college football.  After each game and practice I would go to my coaches and tell them to point out everything I did wrong.  I would then watch myself and would try and find 3 negative things I did on each play.  I loved critism, it drove me to work harder.  And your dad was right, only go on one knee :).
