Honestly both Charles and Diane had numerous affairs with numerous people. I guess this is what happens when you dont marry for love. Hope Harry and Willis learn from their parents mistakes.

Diana knew before she married Charles that he loved Camilla, always had...but the family refused for them to marry. A real life kind of Romeo and Juliet (of the rather unattractive kind tho..ha) Charles needed heirs, so he married Diana. Who knows if she really ever loved him or just wanted to be a princess. He continued to see his true love and Diana sought a true lover.It was a royal mess. And a sad ending to Diana.  She was a true humanitarian, just not a saint.

Diana and charles were BOTH the victims of a dated idealism......

Charles was extremely limited by WHO he could marry.

She had to be a Blue-blood

She had to be a Virgin ( and gawd knows there aint a lot of adult virgins about THESE days)

She had to be an Anglican

She Had to be White

She had to be fertile ....

he couldn't marry for love alone .. YET we all seem content on bagging the living daylights out of him for being bloody human .....One thing in Charles' favour ... He married the woman who was obviously his true love...  and even his sons have accepted that ( WHY CAN'T THE BLOODY PUBLIC) ..

Diana had liason after liason ..do I blame her .. not really .. I don't condemn her .. but nor do i raise her up like some bloody saint on a pedastal...

They were both Human .. and therefore not infalliable ...
