The hosts were also the first team to score as they took the game to the Catalan giants. However, Guardiola’s men were able to level the score 8 minutes later. La Blaugrana could have won the game but Lionel Messi’s missed spot-kick meant that the
scores would remain level till the final whistle.
Speaking about the second leg, the Spanish mentor expressed that he expects a tough test at home too.
The tactician also had a very cautious approach in revealing any details about the injured Barca players who might have to sit the game out due to their respective injuries..
While addressing the press, the 41-year-old was quoted as saying:
"We play 11 against 11, there will be seven substitutes on the bench, and we are doing well, it will be a game for men, it will be very demanding, and we'll need everyone to be at 100 percent. The most doubtful of the players is Busquets, Xavi is fine
and Alexis is OK although he is still suffering a little.”
"They have trained pretty well; we'll see how they are tomorrow. If we don't make it, we remain alive in two competitions. We have a chance to play our fourth final this season and the players are aware of that.”
