Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp insists that his side are unlikely to repeat last season’s heroics.
The Black Yellows were last season’s stand out performers. They beat Bayern Munich to the Bundesliga trophy, after finishing eight points ahead of them. Borussia Dortmund met their domestic rivals on yet another occasion, in the
DFB Pokal final the Bavarian giants lost to the Bundesliga Champions.
Jurgen Klopp’s side played some fantastic pass and move football, which gave his team’s young players a chance to develop their skill. It is hard to pick a single player from the Dortmund side who did not perform at his full potential.

scored 17 goals in 43 league appearances.
Despite lifting two successive Bundesliga titles, Jurgen Klopp believes that last season’s success does not account for anything. In his opinion, it will be difficult to clinch the German league title this time around.
"We have to put everything that has happened in the past aside. We have won the title like this twice - there is no chance that the third time will be easy,” he is quoted as saying in an interview.
The 45-year old insists it is easy to bounce back from a poor season, but it is hard to maintain success by not getting complacent. He reckons, now the people will judge them on their previous performances.
Despite these claims, the German tactician insists his side will be up for yet another fierce battle for the Bundesliga title.
“The problem is that it is easy to improve when you have been performing poorly previously. But now the bar is set extremely high for myself and my team. My motivation and enthusiasm is extremely strong, which is replicated by
the team,” he added.
This season it will be hard for Borussia Dortmund to replicate their last season’s success. After the departure of their star player Kagawa, their new signings will have to hit the ground running.
