It will not show my picture..?

I'm an idiot.. so someone out there needs to explain in detail how to get a picture of me to show instead of the avatar or the no picture at all icon. I've searched questions on this and i've found many, but i'm still not seeing my picture. I uploaded two pictures on the 360 profile, or whatever it is.. and the pictures are there.. but it's just not showing on the main questions page. My profile is still showing that black and white sideways man picture. Is it all still messed up.. or am I missing something? Thanks in advance!

Sometimes if you have someone kind of parent lock on your comp then it won't work other wise i am not sure sorry
