You know how you can plug your head phones into the tower instead of the speakers?

Well whenever them plug it in I get nothing, if I jiggle it around I can get it in one head phone, and if I go far enough out I can get it in both speakers but it won't stay so I attempted to tape it, but it doesn't last long. I wonder if I ****** it up.

I tried other head phones and they did the same thing.

And my speakers are broken, and I know all the sound things are working because before I could hear well.

Could I have possibly ****** up the head phone plug?

  1. Geeez, you can get a pair of speakers for around $10, or $5 at a flee market. It will cost a hole lot more for a tech to re-solder the connections on the computer ear phone jack. That IS NOT something you want to try to repair on your own.

  2. The headphone jack on your receiver is messed up. Whether you did it or it happened from age and normal use, I don't know. They do tend to stop working properly after some years of plugging in and out though.
