Itai Black gets the best odds for Grade A5 race at Oxford
Itai Black has been given the best odds for winning the 450 metres Grade A5 greyhound race at Oxford in England on Friday, March 2, 2012. The triumphant hound will be awarded with a cash prize of £50.
The flat race, scheduled to start at 11:48 GMT, will see six quality runners in it. Their names are: Itai Black, Effernogue Hands, Greencroft Teddy, Ballyhank Dapper, Posh Chanel and Cahermore Tucks.
Although Itai Black has not been producing consistent results over the past few months, he has been tipped for victory today. He will not find things difficult in this class and the punters will be looking forward to place some bets on him.
L. Magnasco’s trained dog finished third in his last outing at Oxford. He was not the favourite back then, but ran well overall. His pace at the start was good, but made a mistake in the middle section of the track, which cost him in the end.
However, the bookmakers were pleased with that performance of the fawn dog, who is the son of Hondo Black out of Pennys Titania and was born in December 2009.
Another runner, expected to do well in this grade, is Effernogue Hands. She has been out of form for the past few races, but still has the potential of outclassing the other participants in the race.
N. Colton’s trained b***h did not get the desired result in her last outing, as she finished fifth. However, she has the tools to win at Oxford and also does not have any problems with the conditions at the venue.
The black and white b***h is the daughter of Kinloch Brae out of Effernogue Alice and was born in September 2009.
S. Rayner’s trainee, Greencroft Teddy, will be the one to watch out for today. She has been doing an impressive job recently and might carry on with that momentum at Oxford. The bettors will certainly be interested in investing some money on her, as she
might spring up a surprise at the end of the day.
The black b***h is the daughter of Tourna Star out of Bluebell Hondo and was born in February 2010.
The least favourite runners for today will be Ballyhank Dapper, Posh Chanel and Cahermore Tucks. They will need to be at their absolute best in order to cause an upset today. However, it seems quite unlikely, as they have not been in good form recently.
