I know Domenico is an Italian name, But what about Dominico?

Don't listen to these people because they don't know anything.  Dominico is NOT, i repeat NOT a variant of Domenico since the latter is pronounced with an " AE" sound. Dominico is how english speakers would mispronounce Domenico due to phonetic handicaps you people have.  And the name is still very very very popular in the south of Italy, with about 5-8% of males having that name. Nicknames for it are:  Domy, Dome (domAE), Mimmo, Mico, Dodo. -NOT Dom
