  1. First, cut up the sausages into bite size pieces, then put them in a frying pan on medium-high heat. Stir the meat until it is brown, and there is NO pink on the meat whatsoever. Once the meat is browned, there will be a juice like liquid in the pan, just drain the meat and it will be ready. If you want to make a meat sauce, have warm sauce with washed mushrooms and stir in the sausage! (to wash mushrooms: take damp napkin and wipe off mushroom carefully)

  2. cut it into slices or put it in a food processor and brown over medium heat....and its yummy!!!!

  3. peel the skin off fry it up chop it up like your cooking for tacos or peel the skin off and cut in sections and roll into balls and fry them up brown them  i usually do both hamburger meat and sausage together

  4. you can either brown in the pan, then slice it up or cut meat out of the casing and use it like ground meat.

  5. Almost Homemade Spaghetti Sauce

"You won't believe how delicious this is and how fast you can make it on the shortest notice. The Italian Sweet Sausage is what gives it it's fantastic flavor. It tastes even better the next day. Only cooking for 1 or 2? Simply cut the recipe in half."

    Serves 6

2 jars of your favorite spaghetti sauce

4 large cloves fresh garlic, chopped

    1 small. onion, chopped

1 pkg Sweet Italian sausage (5 to a pkg)

    3/4 pkg Angel Hair spaghetti

    1. In a 5 qt saucepan, or Dutch Oven, add a little oil (preferrably olive oil) and saute the chopped garlic and onions until soft and clear, but not browned.

    2. Add the sauce and bring to a boil; immediately lower to a simmer.

    3. Add all of the whole Sweet Italian sausages.

    4. Bring the sauce back to a boil and immediately lower to a simmer; cover and let cook for 20 min.

    5. While the sauce is simmering, cook the spaghetti according to the pkg directions; drain and add a little olive oil to keep from sticking.

    6. Cut the sausages in half and place a piece on the side of each plate when serving.

Serve with a tossed green salad, and hot garlic bread.

*You can also add a small can of drained, sliced mushrooms, or black olives to the sauce, if you like.
