Italian Serie A Full Time Report: AC Milan vs. Udinese – Eight goal thriller ends in a 4-4 draw
AC Milan took on Udinese, in a game that was crucial to their title race and to extend their lead at the top of table. On the other hand Udinese were looking to pick up the three points on the night so they could come into contention for a European spot.
The match kicked off with Udinese taking the game to Milan. This came as a shock to the home side which couldn't really do much to contain the early attacks from Udinese. However what Milan did have going for them, was the fact that neither one of the attacks the visitors launched early on, resulted in a goal.
Nonetheless all of that changed as Udinese picked up the first goal of the game in the 35th minute. Gokhan Inler managed to receive the ball in the Milan half and took a right footed shot from range. His thunderbolt of an effort bounced off the post and was turned in by Antonio Di Natale from nearly six yards out, his effort sailing into the back of an almost empty Milan goal.
However not wanting to be outdone by the visiting team, Milan managed to get one back before end of the first half. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alexandre-Pato-c4901 met with his left foot and as a result got Milan level on goals with Udinese.
In the 53rd minute Udinese went on to score their second goal of the night. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alexis-Sánchez-c4979 met the ball with his head and turned it over from point blank range.
Udinese then went on to extend their lead even further as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Antonio-Di-Natale-c6306 scored the team's third goal during the 66th minute from inside the Milan area.
However thanks to some luck from the Udinese player Medhi Benatia, Milan got one goal back courtesy of an own goal near to the end of 78th minute.
Pato then went on to equalize once again in the 82nd minute for Milan as he prodded a left footed shot to the cheer of fans.
With just a minute left on the clock, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Denis-c10837 got the fourth goal for Udinese. The player revived the ball in centre of the box and struck a left footed shot that was expected to be the decisive goal.
On the other side of the pitch it seemed like Ibrahimovic had other plans. The tall Swedish striker went on to score Milan's equalizer for the third time and this time during the dying moments, 93rd minute. Cassano played on the striker, who made no mistake with turning the ball into back of the net, ending the game as a well deserved draw for both sides.
