Italian Serie A Full Time Report: Juventus 1-4 vs. Parma - Parma punish ten man Juventus
Juventus hosted Parma in a game that was crucial for ‘The Old Lady’ of Italian football at Stadio Olimpico di Torini. This was because Juventus, prior to the game, were outside the Champions League zone and knew that a win in the
game, would lift them to the fourth spot.
The line-ups for the game were as follows:

Parma: http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sebastian-Giovinco-c32724
The match kicked off with Parma dominating. It was rather weird to watch the home side being dominated by their much weaker opponents.
The pressure from Parma seemed to be a little too much for Juventus to handle as on the 17th minute, Felipe Melo was shown a straight red. The Brazilian went down in a tussle with Paci, but the fact that he stuck his
boot into his opponent’s face, resulted in the referee showing him a straight red.
In the 24th minute, Chiellini kicked the ball into the back of the net, but in order to do so the defender had to foul the Parma keeper. As a result, instead of awarding the home side with a goal, the officials opted
to give a free-kick in favour of the visitors.
In the 41st minute, just four minutes before the end of the half, Parma managed to use the one-man advantage to their favour and struck the opening goal of the game. Gobbi's initial header drew a fine save from Storari,
but there was little that the keeper could do to keep Giovinco from firing home on the rebound.
Just three minutes into the second half, Parma scored their second goal of the game. Valiani whipped in a brilliant cross from the byline and Giovinco did brilliantly to control the ball, before swivelling it into the back of the
net in the 48th minute.
In the 60th minute, Juventus managed to pull a goal back and give some hope to the home fans. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Pepe-c29670 crossed in a typical deadly delivery from a corner kick and Legrottaglie rose the highest to nod the ball into the back
of the net.
However, just a minute later Chiellini went on to bring Crespo down in the Juve box and the referee pointed to the spot. The Argentine took the resulting spot kick and sent the keeper the wrong way, to restore the two-goal lead
for the visitors in the 62nd minute.
With the game running into extra time, Parma went on to inflict more pain to the already hurt Juventus side. After Raffaele Palladino drew another fine save from Storari, Valiani had the simple task of converting from range and
as a result, the game ended with the score line reading 4-1, in favour of the visitors.
