Italian Serie A players, who could be on the move this summer
Mario Balotelli: The highly talented, Italian teenager has already made it clear on a number of occasions that he wishes to leave the San Siro and Inter Milan this summer. He is apparently destined to be heading to Manchester City but Manchester United have also shown signs of interest in the player. Balotelli’s agent has also confirmed that he is currently in talks with English Premiership sides to line up a possible move for the player.
David Trezeguet: There have been varying indications from David Trezeguet over the course of the last couple of weeks. Reports have flown in suggesting that the player wishes to stay at Juventus while other reports suggest that the player has a strong desire to leave the club. Juventus are currently in the transfer market looking to sing a striker and if they manage to find someone to play upfront then that could mark the end of Trezeguet at Juventus and see him move away from the club. A number of clubs have shown interest in the player varying from the English Premiership to the Major League Soccer teams in the United States. The player might want to settle in a different Italian team however considering he has been living in the country for so long now.
Klass – Jan Huntelaar: The Dutch goal scoring poacher could almost certainly be on his way out of the Italian Serie A and on his way to the English Premier League. There are a number of suitors who are willing to sign the player who has fallen down the pecking order at AC Milan. The player was formerly employed at Real Madrid who when were looking for suitable buyers had a long list of Premier League teams to choose from, they ultimately let him go to Italy and join AC Milan instead. Huntelaar was recently spotted in the Manchester airport which could only mean a move is quite possibly already shaping up. Teams that are looking to sign the player include Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool. Liverpool are current favorites to land the player in either a season long loan deal or a transfer deal which would see Ryan Babel leave Anfield and go to the San Siro and would see Huntelaar do the opposite.
Giampaolo Pazzini: Pazzini is currently employed at Sampdoria, who insist that they will not sell one of their prized strikers. However if a good enough offer is made for the player the team will have no choice but to let him go. Teams that are currently looking to recruit the player are Juventus and Chelsea, but a move to Juventus seems more likely since Carlo Ancelotti who is the Chelsea manager has said he does not wish to buy any strikers this summer.
Alexis Sanchez: The twenty one year old Chiliean winger has been in tantazlizing form lately. After his breathtaking displays in the FIFA World Cup 2010 a host of teams have been looking to sign the player. The team that has shown the most interest in the player is Manchester United, it wouldn’t be surprising if the player made the move to Old Trafford before the start of the season.
