where can i get a good italian beef sandwich in the spring,tx area?

Are you from the Chicago area? I have never ate a decent Italian beef, anywhere more then 50 miles away. Used to

live in Aurora, Il.

I say make it yourself also.

Buy a eye of round roast (I buy about 3-4 lb one).  You also need a small jar of pepperoncini and a package of Good Season's Italian Dressing.  You make this in the crockpot by putting the roast in, (I rub mine in some olive oil).  The sprinkle dressing over the top.  And the peppers on top of that.  Just let it go on low until the meat is falling apart.  Eat on crusty rolls for a Great Italian beef sandwich.
