Italian festivals and carnivals?

Someone can inform me where can I find information (in English) about carnivals / festivals in Italy, from start May until late August 2008 ?

There is the Italian Feast in Melrose Park, IL every year... but i'm not sure which day it is... I haven't gone to it since i was a kid.

There are literally thousands of events over that period.

This is one of the resources I use for festivals and events - not only here in Italy, but world-wide. Just enter Italy and the date range. This will locate the major festivals and some very interesting less major ones.
