How dumb am I? I thought my Italian friend was flirting with me, but I think I've gotten the translations confused with flirtation!?! Arghhhhh! Can you help translate, are these friendly or flirtatious?!?!

1. ciao ciao bella, baci

2. bellissimaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa (is that flirtatious?)

3. Ciao bella Australiana

4. Un grandissimo bacio da un amico italiano che ti vuole bene

Let me know what you think ... thank you!!!

  1. No, it's very common to say these sentences to a friend... When I meet my friends (females), I usually tell them "Ciao bella" and I use this sentence at the beginning of sms and e-mails

    1. Bye bye beautiful (girl), kisses

    2. Very beautiful (girl)

    3. Hi Beautiful Australian (girl)

    4. A very big kiss from an Italian friend who loves you (note that in Italian the verb love has 2 translations: to a boyfriend/girlfriend/wife/husband... = amare; to a friend/brother/sister/mother/father... = voler bene)

    You're friend wasn't flirting...

  2. friendly and a little romantic

  3. No, you are not dumb.

    1. Hello hello beautiful, kisses.

    2. bellissimaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa (Wait, what is this mean?)

That word doesn't have any meaning but bellissima does, it means: Beautiful.

    3. Hello beautiful Australian.

    4. A great kiss from an Italian friend you want good.

And yet, this is normal. A little flirtatious but also much of weird. (lol)
