Italian goalkeeping legend Dino Zoff has come forth and hailed Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli, as he has admitted the player is destined for greatness.

The former great then turned his attention to Manchester City’s lethal forward, as he admitted Mario Balotelli had something really special going for him. At the same time, Zoff admitted that the youngster’s performance could make or break Italy’s pursuit
of silverware next season.
“Mario Balotelli has notable potential and he could be an added value to this team”
“But the need for a powerful striker depends on how the team moves and what the smaller attacking players can offer with their class and speed.”

Italy are now going to play in the tournament next year, but are more than likely to participate in a number of friendly games before the tournament begins.
Balotelli is going to be put under the microscope over the coming few weeks, where the striker is going to have to prove that he is the ideal player to lead the team from the front, once the tournament kicks off next year.
