Italian manager Cesare Prandelli hopes Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli can grow up to achieve superstar status
Italian manager Cesare Prandelli has gone on to offer Manchester City striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mario-Balotelli-c23937 with some advice, as he has urged the player to grow up.
The Italian coach feels the twenty year old has all the talent in the world, but is letting it go to waste, due to his childish antics.
Prandelli feels the player has been given the perfect platform on which to develop and with the time he spends on the pitch, he has more experience than most twenty year olds can hope for. That being said, Prandelli also feels that the striker should try
and work on the mental aspect off his game, since that seems to be the only factor which has been bringing the player down.
Prandelli when talking about Balotelli is quoted to have said: "Mario needs to grow up, and he must understand that if he does this then his power as a player can be devastating"
Prandelli isn’t the first person to question Balotelli’s mental capacity. City manager, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 has time and time again gone on to ask the player to start behaving like he is a twenty year old, but so far, that seems to be taking no effect on the
player.
The striker has gone on to driving into a prison, to shooting youth players with bb guns, all for the reason of him being bored. This just goes to show what the player is capable of and just how much his mentality has developed.
Balotelli has been the cause of a lot of problems at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan, back when he used to play for the Italian giants and had often led to the locker room looking to go at the player.
Had the player’s mentality not been affecting his on pitch performances, it wouldn’t have mattered as much, however, it seems like the player just can’t keep his antics off the pitch as well.
His most recent example of doing something outrageous was when City took on LA Galaxy, the striker went on to get one on one with the keeper and then attempted an audacious spin flick, which sent the ball behind for a goal kick.
The striker also seems to have developed a need to dive around a lot and exaggerate all injuries and tackles.
As it stands, Balotelli needs to get his act together, before both his club manager and national team manager get fed up with the player and decide it is better to just drop him to the bench, or from the team altogether.
