Italian phrase[not even sure how to spell it]?

k so all the older people in my family are like hardcore italian people. you know, always bitching about everything, always in a huge hurry, always screaming and on edge..you get it. and they still use some italian phrases and stuff. i understand some of it but theres this one thing they always say and i just have no clue. i'm not even sure how to spell it so dont flame me when i totally s***w it up. its like 'oye adee' or something like that. anyone even have a clue as to what i'm talking about?

maybe just oh dear "oh dio" or something with Dio at the end. Italians love curses with Dio (God) in them. I am not sure but it sounds like there is Dio in the phrase.
