  1. if your ready for a long drive cornwall and devon are nice but far away

  2. your english is very good, but get ready for an expensive time

  3. London is a great place to visit but is very large and much larger that cities you might be used to.  London has a central area where all the tourist things are to be found but it is also the most expensive area to stay in.  If you are looking for a cheaper hotel best to stay slightly outside the centre and travel in on the tube or bus every day.  London has so many pretty places it's hard to know where to start.  You can visit the Princess Diana memorial foundtain in Hyde Park and follow the rose garden trail.  You can take a duck tour and be guided through london on a bus which then goes into the river Thames.  You can get an open top bus tour, go on the London Eye, visit the museums which are all up in Kensington such as the V&A, Science Museum and Natural History Museum.  All museums and art galleries in London are free.  If you want to leave London for a day or a night then you could visit the historic cities of Oxford or Canterbury which are both lovely and worth a visit.

  4. There is so much you can do.

    I suggest:

    The National Art Gallery,

The British Museum always has great exhibits,

The Victoria and Albert Museum is lovely and has some free exhibits, it is in a very beautiful location, near Hyde Park, Knightsbridge (Harrods, Harvey Nics & shopping), The Natural History Museum (which is an amazing building)

Tate and Tate Modern art galleries.

    Parliament Square is architecturally wonderful.

A cruise down the Thames is a nice way to spend and afternoon.

London has lovely pubs all over.

Main shopping streets: Oxford Street, Bond Street, Kings Road...

    Camden is eclectic and fun.

Portabello Market on Saturday mornings is great to explore.

All the Palaces - Buckingham, St. James, Kensington Palace and Gardens

Outside London:  Windsor Castle and town,

    Henley-On-Thames is lovely,

parts of Kent and the Kent Coast line,

    Oxford,

    Cambridge....

Oh my so much to do and see.

(Many of the Museums have free areas)

    Have fun!
