Hey guys, my dear Italians ..

there is an italian version of the famous "Old McDonald has a farm"..

I used to see it when I was a child, although I wasn't able to understand a word, but I liked it a lot..

now I need to refresh my childhood memories.. so I searched for it everywhere, no success.. I think people speaking the same language as the song can do that easily..

For those that do not know the clip.. here is a link to a version "that I found, and i'm not searching for"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5kan90l37...

I hope to find the version that was in the garden - or even on the theater performed by little kids like the one in the song "VOLA VOLA" ..

any help??????

  1. This link should be what you are looking for.

    http://www.bdp.it/intercultura/buon_viag...

For the complete lyrics  read on the left side of the page.

Music starts when you connect to the site and it stops just by clicking.

This song was performed by the famous Quartetto Cetra and its Italian title  "NELLA VECCHIA FATTORIA".

I've found also the file for download but I can't send it to you unless you provide me with yr extended email address (I've in my documents and I can't attach nor here or to yr Yahoo's email as it appears on yr account).

  2. Here are the words to the song and how it goes....

Nella vecchia fattoria, ia ia oh

dove c'è lo zio Tobia, ia ia oh

c'è un bel cortil, un orticel,

    un gran recinto col cancel

c'è vicin la ferrovia, ia ia o

    Nella vecchia fattoria ia-ia-o

Quante bestie ha zio Tobia,  ia-ia-o

    C'è la capra-capra-ca-ca-capra

    Nella vecchia fattoria ia-ia-o.

    Attaccato a un carrettino ia-ia-o

    C’è un quadrupede piccino ia-ia-o

    L'asinel -nel-nel-nel-nello,

    c'è la capra....

Tra le casse e i ferri rotti ia-ia-o

Dove i topi son grassotti ia-ia-o

    C'è un bel gatto-gatto-ga-ga-gatto...

  3. Where?  I don't see it!
