Italy and harry potter?

Question

In december im going to italy for holidays and while im over there Harry Potter 6 is coming out to the movies

i was just wondering if they will show harry potter in italy and whether it would be shown in italian or english

Most Cinemas in Italy will show films in dubbed Italian. Some US Bases still exist in Italy and they will most likely show the Harry Potter film in English. However access to the bases is restricted to members of the US Military, but sometimes US Citizens can enter - usually with permission of the embassy in Rome.

As other users have already pointed out, most Harry Potter films play in Cinemas for quite some time so you should have an oppurtunity to see the 6th film whenever you return to your country.

Many theaters in Europe will show the film in the original English, but you have to read the newspaper to find them.  Alternatively, there are quite a few American Navy Bases here in Italy and all the movies here are shown in English so if you can get escorted on by a person allowed to be on base you could see the movie that way.  

However, the Harry Potter films are usually in theaters for quite awhile so unless you're going to be here in Italy for quite an extended stary, you can still catch in in theaters when you get back.

I live in Milan, Italy.

Here we have many cinemas and some of them  show Harry Potter also in its original language.

The last year for example, Odeon Cinema in Santa Radegona Street (Duomo square) showed  the english version.

In Milan you will surely find it.

It is a big city.

i saw it in italian. i was there last summer when the 5th one came out and it was in italian. good thing i could understand it. i'm sure there's a place where it's in english though but you'd have to search for it.

I live in Italy, and I went to see harry potter. It was not in english.
