The former Fiorentina manager believes that the Azzurri’s desire for victory exceeds that of the Three Lions, and has stated that the Nazionale will win provided they are in good physical shape.
Delio Rossi has admitted to the quality of English side ahead of the quarterfinals, but maintains that Italy have the better chance of going through to the semi-finals of Euro 2012.

Rossi stated his belief that Italy’s tactical strength will be their greatest weapon in the match against the European giants, and insisted that Cesare Prandelli will look to use the advantage well in the knockout stage.
The former Viola manager admitted to the strength of the Three Lions, and hailed them as a side with some strong players as well as having a very pragmatic approach to their game.
The ex-Palermo coach stressed that the Azzurri have a much greater hunger for victory than the British, but maintained that the Italians will need to be in a strong physical shape to edge past the English team.
While talking to the press, the 51-year-old said:

If we go into the game in good physical shape then we can do it because we have more fantasy.”

The ex-Palermo tactician went on to remind that he has had a very descent career as a manager, and was adamant that he is keeping his focus towards a bright future.
The former Fiorentina manager stated that while his first preference is to stay in Italy, he can also accept a job outside of his country for the learning experience it may bring.
