The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 doctor admitted that he is worried about the condition of the centre-back, but maintained that he will wait a few days before making a final statement about the problem.

However, the Azzurri medic went on to confirm that all the other players in the Italy squad are fit and healthy.
While talking to the press, Professor Castellacci said:
“Unfortunately he had a muscular problem in his left thigh, so a new muscular problem after previous issues. As you know, we cannot give an accurate diagnosis on these things immediately, so we must wait a few days. We are a little worried, yes. It’s a shame
as he had come back quickly from a thigh problem in the other leg, but felt this latest setback. The other players are all in good shape.”
A similar strain in the right leg also threatened Chiellini’s participation in Euro 2012 with Italy, but the Bianconeri defender recovered just in time to play the first three games.
