  1. Which is a better place to live, the United States or Texas?

  2. Sicily - believe it or not - is a part of Italy . Some politicians in the north of Italy would like it not to be but it is and it is also one of the most beautiful parts of Italy too.

  3. sicily is a island that is part of Italy

  4. ok I get what you mean. I like the north of italy more, in my opinion the food is better, the people are more friendly and the climate is better. However, the south is great because its so warm. and Ive heard they speak english in the south more so than in the north, or at least they are more tollerant of it. I vote northern italy

  5. i live in sicily!i love it!! it's the most beautiful place of italy for me! sure thereisn't so much work like nord italy but the place is more beutiful! ciaooo

  6. Sicily is part of Italy, just like New York is part of the United States.  :(  Get an atlas!

  7. Sicily is in Italy

  8. Believe it or not, I read your question!  I live in Italy and I like it here, but I used to live in Florida in the good old days... My mother-in-law and most of my husband's family lives in Sicily and so we have been there many times.

Sicily is a lot like what Florida once was like, very poor basic public services like road maintenance or nice neat garbage pick up, or public transportation, lots of very evident corruption. (Today Florida looks more and more like Switzerland, even the tourists speak German...)  The people seem quite friendly, but consider we visit a lot of relatives.

I live in Florence, basic public services are better in Central to Northern Italy.  The people are not very friendly, by Florida standards, but folks from up North have told me they found them friendly...

Traffic and parking is a problem everywhere, it may be more regulated in Italy.  The difference in climate is not really much at all (the difference between cold and cold in the winter, with many buildings with no heat in Sicily).

I moved away from Florida because I couldn't stand the corruption which was at the base of the problems we had. I would never move to Sicily for the same reasons.  A lot of people are happy just to look the other way.
