I dont speak much Italian, is this going to be a problem?

Are Italian women as unfriendly as people say they are?

Are Italian man as sleazy as they say they are?

(my bf says he cant take me anywhere as it is without people hitting on me)- is he going to be fighting them off with a stick or will they be okay if they know I am taken....I just want to make friends!

  1. I went to Italy last summer with my wife. It was the most amazing experience that I've ever had. We were in Rome for nine days. There was so much to do there that we didn't have any reason to venture out. The Vatican is awesome. Also check out the Spanish Steps, all the different fountains, and the Pantheon. The food is great also.

  2. First of all : it won't be easy for you to make friends with people whose language you don't speak! It's true that Italians are friendly and welcoming, but what would you like to talk about if you don't understand a word??? Second: who says we (Italian women) are unfriendly? and why should we be so??? Third: men are always willing to make compliments and really appreciate beauty, so it's possible that you feel "observed" while crossing the street, especially if you are wearing short skirts and high heels, but isn'it so in every part of the world? Trust me, nobody will bore you unless you provoke him....:-)

  3. CIAO (HELLO)

    I'M ITALIAN FROM NAPOLI

    MY CONTACT MSN IS: Eric.Theodore.Cartman@live.it

we become friends and teach you a little Italian!

    Bye

    Ciao bella

  4. ehm, you have a little of biasness.............................

You can't go to Italy, and say to an Italian:

"Hi, I wanna be a friend of yours... are you really unfriendly as I think? Do u think I need my bf coz u r gonna hit me??"

Just be normal, without biasness and u ll be great.

i mean, maybe u can find really unfriendly people, but don't go there with these ideas.

usually people, instead, are friendly, not violent and funny

  5. hi! i'm an italian girl! if you want you can send me a mail to start a corrispondence!!

  6. With attitudes like that, you won't make any friends.  And leave your boyfriend home.  Ciao, bella.

  7. Hi! I'm an italian girl....from Sicily, CATANIA...If you want you can send me a mail.....I can give you some informations.....!

  8. I'm Australian and have visited Sicily, Rome and Venice.  I love Italy... my favourite country in Europe!  Everyone is lovely, a lot speak English in the bigger places and the rest you just mime and smile you're way through.  The men are not sleazy at all... they love women and while they are a lot more obvious when they look at you and will be quite open with lavious compliments they are very respectful - I think Australian men are a lot sleazier!  Enjoy the love!

  9. Don't worry....We are very very friendly you will make a lot's of friend and boys will love you.

  10. You need to put all of your preconceived notions and bad generalizations aside. The Italians in Italy are some of the warmest people on Earth. You will quickly discover this once you leave the airport and get into any of the towns. They love tourists  and once you identify that you are part Italian, they will treat you more like family and try to tell all they know about the exact town or region that your father was from.

Italians appreciate beauty and celebrate it in everything that they do and produce: from playing soccer to designing clothing, to producing wine, cheese, and delicious foods.
