Hello, I am getting married in Passignano in Italy this August and will be travellling to the country next week to meet various suppliers. I am keen to source my own wine however am a complete novice with Italian reds (well all wines really) and so was thinking of visiting Montepulciano & Montalcino, is this advisable? Can anyone offer any advice?We are not experts but my partner and I both enjoy smooth juicy reds such as Shiraz as well as Carmenere but obviously would like to use a local Italian wine for our wedding. Any advice on Italian whites would be apprecaited too!thanks x
