Italy will reopen nuclear plant?

After Chernobyl, Italy stopped any use of nuclear energy.

Now we restart using our nuclear plant and we’ll build some new.

Frankly speaking I think that we have wasted too many years and paid too much money to our neighbors (France and Switzerland in first place) that have supplied us huge quantities of energy produced by their nuclear plants...!!  Do you know that's perfectly the same thing if any nuclear accident occurs either in France or in Italy ??

Why should we go on buying from them instead of building our own nuclear plants here in Italy. Are you feeling safer ??  

I guess the new strategy will allow us to have a lower energy's cost and our industry will take advantage of it with a recovered competition's power. So welcome to nuclear plants !
