Itazura na kiss, anime of drama?

I'm so confused. I just started watching Itazura na kiss in anime, but everytime I search it on google it comes up as a drama? Are their 2 versions of this? A japanese drama and an anime version? If so, where can I watch the drama? And are all the anime episodes out yet? (Sorry, so many questions)

There a chinese version of it called it started with a kiss and it's a drama. There's also a japanese version which is a drama also called itazura na kiss. the anime is brand new. try searching: itazura na kiss (anime)

every incarnation was inspired by the original manga itazura na kiss.

? I think you are confused

Anime is short for animation. So an anime is anything animated, what you or I would probably call a 'cartoon'. On Google and in most cases 'Anime' refers to anything animated coming from Japan. Most people, if you ask them, will say 'Anime' is only stuff that comes from Japan. Anime isn't a category, its just a description. All anime from Japan start out as a 'Manga' which is a book made of pictures (like a big comic book, only more detailed) If the manga is popular, it is made into an anime

Itazura Na Kiss can be categorized a few ways. For the most part, it is a drama. It can also be a 'Romance' or even 'Comedy' . So when you look it up on Google, it tells you that it is an anime and the anime is a drama. That is like looking up, say, Superman. Superman has a comic book, a few cartoon shows, and movies. The cartoon series would be 'action' and the movies would be 'action' or 'adventure'

So no, there is only one version of the anime, which is a drama.

The anime episodes air every Thursday (I think?) in Japan, and it takes about a day for it to be translated and subtitled.
