Itchy Pubic Hairs?:((((?

Yesterday night i decided to trim my pubes because a girl told me to (thx ladies -.-), so I took scisscors made it even on both sides pretty short then there was like a problem cause at top underneath my belly was still a bit of hairs i couldent cut so i took an electric shaver and trim it down. Now the pubes above my p***s area are really sharp like my facial hair is, and they really itch! So far I have no rashes or spots or red places, it just itches really bad. Will this go away soon, the roughness and itchiness? Or what should I be worried about exc...?

Well, you shouldn't of shaved it in the first place. We shouldn't have to shave down there and neither should women. The hair down their is natural. And the itchiness is because you shaved it. SO if you didn't shave it wouldnt be itchy.

Live and learn. I keep mine trim and my balls and other areas shaved.

But I know not to go down that far. How....LOL....I did the same thing you did.

just let them grow a bit say half an inch and then the itching should go away, it is cuz they are short at the moment and so they are currently rubbing against your skin, let them grow a but and they won't be so close to your skin

I might trim for a lady but I would not shave.  Was she shaved?  I prefer hair, natural hair. Trim it if you prefer, but otherwise I prefer my mate's hair. Why shave there? Out of the answers in another question only one gave a reason for shaving and it is "i hate when my v****a gets hairy". This could be solved with a trim rather than a shave. I feel bad that girls are socially pressured to shave their arm pits and legs. They should not have to put out the effort, suffer the pain and scrapes, the stubbly hairs trying to grow back. The itch of hair trying to grow back would make me not do it twice. Plus I would miss the beauty and unique individuality of pubic hair and styles and swirls. Finally, I hope no one is doing it for just because someone else demands they do it; and if he or she does demand his mate to shave down there, then he or she should at least do it also.

Does shaving the public area make adults look like children? Shaving is clearly stylish with the younger generation. I suspect it's partly from the p**n industry, which the guys watch incessantly and then try to make their girl friends act like the women in the prom movies.  In the early p**n files of the late 1960's and early 70's, the models were far less trimmed than in the 1980's.  In the 1990's the guys were highly trimmed and the ladies often shaved.  These p**n movies are made to please guys who primarily support the industry. Most women take a glance and that's enough: their focus is not in superficial action but inner feelings. p**n would die out if it depended on women to buy the movies.   Unusual that your lady asked for a shave.

Another argument some guys and ladies have, shaving is better for oral: I say I don’t mind spiting out a rare hair or so, if the mate does not have to shave regularly.  

It is said guys will look bigger shaved. Who cares how he or she looks? Genital it seems were made more for using than looking at; and if I looked at them, I would want to see natural pubic hair. I guess it appears that shaving makes every one look more similar so no one stands out whereas natural pubic hair is so individualistic, even a bit wild as in bungle in the jungle.

I tried triming my pubic hair because my girlfriend wanted me too and it got really itchy and irritated after the first few hours..once your hair starts to grow back it will stop being itchy and irritating

The itchiness is because they are starting to grow back.  It's normal and it is a good reason not to shave your pubes.  Who needs itchy ones?

I really think a guy needs to decide this on his own -- not be dictated to by his lady.  If this is the only reason she wants you to be her boyfriend, find another girlfriend.

Just make sure when they grow back that you wash regularly there.  At most, give them a trim back (if they are really long).  No need to shave them off completely.

well itll go away as the hair grows why dont u just shave the whole thing?? it makes ur p***s look larger when guys do that

its really normal i trim mine all the time.

its because the hairs rub against ur clothes so its goin 2 itch

trust me its normal when the tips get soft it itchyness will go down
