Well today was my first day wearing contacts ever and after about a hour i notice my left eye was itching a bit on the outter part of my eye and im wondering, will i need some kind of re-wetting drops? is it normal for your eye to itch alittle bit for first time contact users? I just want to make sure its nothing serious and i dont want to call and drive the contact place crazy over something that might be simple and normal.

  1. omg same here..but for some reason no one will help me.

  2. Re-wetting drops are for dryness and (often) preventing build-up.

Itching means you're allergic to something, be it the contact (rarely), the storage solution (likely), or an added drop you used (likely)

Unfortunately, unless you're willing to read labels and find a brand that doesn't share the ingredients that you're using for.. everything you're using, it'll take a call to the place you were prescribed for a new brand recommendation. It's unlikely you'll need to actually go in, unless changing drops or solution doesn't resolve the itching.

In the mean time, I'm sorry, but the contacts need to go out, and stay out.
