I'm a teen who travels on an airplane every other month so I'm used to what to bring (no liquids, ipod is ok, yadayada) ANYWAY, I'm a huge "Teavana" fan. This is loose-leaf tea for those of you wo don't know. I would like to bring some of this tea with me next week, but don't know how. Should i bring it in my carry-on or will they think its drugs (not trying to be funny or anything)? Or my luggage? Don't they screen those too?

hmmm...

  1. I have heard of some people having trouble bringing tea from international destinations, but never on a domestic flight.  I would give it a shot - the worst that can happen is they will take it away from you.  I would bring take it in your carry-on so that you can be there when they screen it and if they pull you aside, just tell them its tea. Seems innocent enough to me.  Good luck.

  2. Put it in between your clothes in your luggage make sure it is in the box/bag/ or whatever else it came in with the list of ingredients.

    Then it should be ok
