Question:

Itouch problem! i cant access my mail account!?

ok so my itouch was working perfectly fine and when i went to check my email (by using the mail icon) it said that my either user name or password was incorrect. than it said something about a apple email not working either???

so i deleted my account and added it back on and it still does the same thing.

is it my hardware or what? and i have tried restarting my itouch but no work.

  1. next time you go on itunes look for an update and update your itunes. i had the same problem with my touch and once i updated it and synced my ipod it worked fine.


  2. First go into Safari and see if you can open a page. If you can then plug your itouch into iTunes and restore it. Then try to sync it. If that does not work try checking it on the computer and if it works then it is the itouch. If it does not work on the computer then contact your email/internet provider.

    If it is the itouch then contact your email/internet provider to make sure the passwords and account names are correct. If you check with them and they are correct, then find your nearest apple store and make a genius bar appointment. When you go tell them you checked with the email/internet provider and they said that the codes are correct and that it worked previously.

    P.S. it is called an iPod Touch.
