Question:

Itouch problem- very frustrating!

My itouch is relatively new- less than 1 year old. However, whenever I try to unlock it, it either doesn't respond to my touch at all or text that says "slide to unlock" will freeze in place for a while.... I can't turn it off or anything and I'm wondering how to fix it.

P.S- I've heard of restoring it on Itunes, but is it true that if I do that, I will lose everything that's on it? I don't want to have to manually put every song back unless it's absolutely necessary. If it's the only way though, I'll do it.

  1. press and hold the sleep button on top and the home button at the bottom together for about 15 secs ( or until the ipod resets)

    should help....

  2. no you wont lose any manually added songs you can also just click and hold the HOME button and the SLEEP button for about 10 sec if you hook it you to your computer you shouldn't lose but just a tip make a folder of what songs you want in your ipod and if you add any just just put the folder in the ipod and if you already have some songs that are in your folder already in your ipod they wont show twice (also you can add movies to that folder.)
